Socipic (“Socipic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, disclose, store, and otherwise process information when you use the Socipic website, games, community features, profiles, avatar systems, design features, user-operated shops, and other services we provide (collectively, the “Service”).

By using Socipic, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users by posting an updated Privacy Policy on Socipic, displaying a notice through the Service, sending an email, or using another reasonable method.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide to us, information generated through your use of Socipic, and certain technical information automatically generated when you access the Service.

Information Collected When You Register

When you create a Socipic account, we may collect information such as:

  • your username or screen name;
  • email address;
  • password or other authentication information;
  • date of birth, age, or age-confirmation information;
  • IP address;
  • country, region, city, or time zone;
  • account preferences; and
  • other information you choose to provide.

Some information is required to create and maintain an account, while other information may be optional.

You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide to us is accurate.

Profile Information

You may choose to provide additional information through your Socipic profile, including:

  • profile or avatar images;
  • biography or description;
  • location;
  • links to websites or social media profiles;
  • interests;
  • status information; and
  • other information you choose to make available.

Certain profile information may be visible to other Socipic users or to the public depending on the nature of the feature and any available privacy settings.

You should not include information in your public profile that you do not want other people to see.

2. Community and User Content

Socipic is a social and community-based Service. Information you voluntarily submit through public or shared portions of Socipic may be viewed by other users.

This may include:

  • posts;
  • comments;
  • blogs;
  • messages posted to public areas;
  • game activity;

  • shop activity;
  • group activity;
  • public friend or relationship information;
  • competition entries; and
  • other User Content.

Information you publish publicly should be considered public information.

Other users may view, share, quote, screenshot, or otherwise interact with information that you make public. Socipic cannot control what another person does with information after that person has lawfully viewed or obtained it through a public portion of the Service.

Private messages are not ordinarily displayed publicly, but they may be processed and retained as necessary to provide the messaging service, investigate reports, enforce Socipic rules, prevent abuse, protect users, or comply with legal obligations.

3. Designs, Avatar Shops, and Design Games

When you upload artwork, avatar clothing, accessories, hairstyles, backgrounds, graphics, or other Design Content to a Socipic design game, avatar shop, competition, or similar feature, we collect and store the submitted material along with information associated with the submission.

  • technical information associated with the upload.

Design Content may be displayed publicly and made available to other users as part of Socipic.

Design Content is also subject to the Shared Design Content provisions of the Socipic Terms of Service.

Deleting your account does not necessarily require Socipic to remove Design Content that has already been distributed, awarded, purchased, incorporated into another user's avatar, or otherwise made part of the Socipic Service where Socipic retains the right to continue using that Design Content under the Terms of Service.

4. Games and Activity Information

When you participate in Socipic games, competitions, shops, rankings, voting systems, or other interactive features, we may collect information regarding your participation.
