Socipic welcomes entertainment companies, television and digital media properties, production companies, publishers, advertisers, brands, agencies, and other organizations that want to connect with the Socipic community.

Whether you're looking to establish an official presence or explore a commercial partnership, you can get started below.

Official Media & Brand Accounts

Bring your official community to Socipic

Networks, television shows, production companies, media organizations, entertainment properties, brands, and other organizations may apply for an Official Organization Account on Socipic.

Official accounts allow organizations to participate in the Socipic community under their recognized name and identity.

For example, an official account might be operated by:

  • a television network;
  • a reality competition series;
  • a production company;
  • a streaming service;
  • an entertainment publication;
  • a podcast or digital media property;
  • a game developer;
  • a consumer brand;
  • an advertising agency; or
  • another recognized organization.

Official accounts are subject to verification and approval by Socipic.

What can an Official Account do?

Depending on the features available to the account, an Official Organization Account may be able to:

  • create an official Socipic profile;
  • publish posts and announcements;
  • interact with Socipic users;
  • promote premieres, episodes, casting opportunities, events, or other permitted content;
  • host community discussions;
  • conduct polls or community activities;
  • announce promotions;
  • participate in approved Socipic events;
  • link users to official websites and social channels; and
  • access additional organization features offered by Socipic.

Official Organization Accounts must follow the Socipic Terms of Service and Rules of Conduct.

Official Account Verification

Socipic verifies organization accounts before granting Official status.

Applicants may be asked to provide:

  • organization name;
  • requested Socipic username;
  • official website;
  • applicant name and job title;
  • business email address;
  • organization or agency represented;
  • explanation of how the account will be used;
  • links to official social media accounts;
  • proof that the applicant is authorized to represent the organization; and
  • other information reasonably necessary to verify authenticity.

Whenever possible, applications should be submitted using an email address associated with the organization's official internet domain.

Socipic may independently verify an application before approving it.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.

Official Account Badge

Approved organization accounts may receive an Official or Verified Organization designation.

This designation means Socipic has taken steps to verify that the account is operated by or on behalf of the organization it claims to represent.

Official status does not mean that Socipic endorses the organization, its products, its programs, or every statement made through the account.

Socipic may remove Official status if:

  • the account changes ownership without approval;
  • Socipic can no longer verify who operates it;
  • the account falsely represents an organization;
  • the organization requests removal;
  • the account substantially violates Socipic policies; or
  • the designation is otherwise being used in a misleading manner.

Organization Usernames

Socipic may reserve or reclaim usernames corresponding to recognized brands, media properties, organizations, trademarks, or public entities.

Having registered a username first does not necessarily give a user the right to impersonate or misleadingly represent an organization.

Where appropriate, Socipic may:

  • transfer a username to a verified rights holder;
  • rename an existing account;
  • reserve an unused username;
  • provide an alternate username; or
  • take other reasonable action to prevent impersonation or confusion.

Parody, criticism, and fan accounts may be treated differently when they are clearly identified as unofficial and otherwise comply with Socipic policies.

Fan Accounts vs. Official Accounts

Users are welcome to create fan communities where permitted.

A fan account may discuss a television show, celebrity, game, network, or other entertainment property, but it may not falsely imply that it is operated or endorsed by that organization.

Fan accounts should clearly identify themselves as unofficial when there could otherwise be confusion.

Only Socipic may grant an Official Organization designation.

Managing an Organization Account

Official Organization Accounts belong to the organization rather than to an individual employee who happens to operate the account.

The organization must designate an authorized primary contact responsible for the account.

Socipic may also allow additional authorized account managers or backup contacts.

Organizations are responsible for promptly notifying Socipic when:

  • an employee managing the account leaves the organization;
  • an agency relationship ends;
  • account access should be revoked;
  • control of the account needs to be transferred; or
  • account credentials may have been compromised.

Organization representatives should not provide account access to unauthorized individuals.

Advertising & Partnerships

Interested in advertising on Socipic?

Organizations interested in reaching the Socipic community may contact us regarding advertising, sponsorships, promotional campaigns, branded experiences, and other commercial partnerships.

Potential opportunities may include:

  • sponsored posts;
  • display advertising;
  • sponsored Socipic events;
  • branded competitions;
  • sponsored games or game rounds;
  • community activations;
  • promotional giveaways;
  • premiere or event promotions;
  • featured content;
  • custom partnerships; and
  • other advertising opportunities offered by Socipic.

Availability, eligibility, pricing, targeting, creative requirements, and campaign terms may vary.

Sponsored Content

Paid advertising and sponsored content will be identified as advertising where appropriate.

Depending on the format, Socipic may use labels such as:

Ad Advertisement Sponsored

A company's ownership of an Official Organization Account does not by itself mean that the company is an advertiser or sponsor of Socipic.

Likewise, granting an organization Official status does not constitute an endorsement by Socipic.

Promotional Posts From Official Accounts

Official Organization Accounts may publish promotional content relating to their own products, programs, events, services, or properties, subject to Socipic policies.

For example, an official television-series account could use its Socipic profile to:

  • announce a season premiere;
  • post a trailer;
  • announce casting;
  • discuss episodes;
  • share official promotional graphics;
  • engage with fans;
  • promote an official voting opportunity;
  • announce contestants; or
  • host a community event.

Socipic may impose reasonable limits on excessive, repetitive, misleading, or disruptive promotional posting.

The ability to operate an Official Organization Account does not automatically include paid placement elsewhere on Socipic.

Sponsored Games & Experiences

Socipic may work with approved partners to create special community experiences.

For example, an entertainment partner might sponsor:

  • a limited-time game;
  • a special competition;
  • a themed challenge;
  • a community giveaway;
  • a premiere event;
  • a casting promotion; or
  • another interactive Socipic experience.

Sponsored experiences will be identified appropriately and may be subject to additional official rules.

Competitive Play by Official Accounts

Official Organization Accounts are primarily intended to represent organizations and are not ordinarily intended to compete as individual players in standard Socipic games.

Employees or representatives who wish to play Socipic games personally should generally do so through their own individual Socipic accounts.

Socipic may make exceptions for:

  • official promotional events;
  • exhibition games;
  • sponsored events;
  • celebrity or media appearances;
  • staff-sanctioned special games; or
  • other approved circumstances.

Any exception will be identified where appropriate.

Official status does not provide an organization or its employees with an advantage in standard Socipic games.
