General

What is Socipic?

Socipic is an online social competition community where users can play interactive reality-style games, compete in challenges, form alliances, vote, strategize, socialize, create content, and interact with other members of the community.

Socipic games are primarily based around social strategy and reality competition mechanics. Depending on the game, players may nominate one another, vote, compete for safety or power, form teams or alliances, betray those alliances, eliminate competitors, serve on juries, and ultimately compete to become the winner.

Unlike a traditional single-player game, Socipic games are driven heavily by the actions, relationships, and decisions of the people playing them.

How old do I need to be to use Socipic?

You must be at least 16 years old to use Socipic.

Socipic is built around social interaction and competitive strategy. Games may involve alliances, arguments, betrayals, rivalries, deception, voting, elimination, and other interpersonal situations.

Users under 16 may not create or maintain a Socipic account.

For more information, see the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Games

What kinds of games are available on Socipic?

Socipic features online reality competition games inspired by social strategy and elimination-based formats.

Games may involve mechanics such as:

  • positions of power;
  • nominations;
  • immunity or safety;
  • veto-style abilities;
  • individual challenges;
  • team challenges;
  • voting and elimination;
  • tribes or teams;
  • alliances;
  • swaps;
  • merges;
  • public votes;
  • juries;
  • final votes;
  • advantages or special powers; and
  • other social and strategic mechanics.

Each game format has its own rules, player count, duration, enrollment requirements, and win conditions. Individual game pages explain the specific rules for each format.

Are Socipic games officially connected to reality television shows?

No.

Socipic is an independent online social gaming platform.

References to familiar reality-game concepts are used to describe gameplay mechanics and genres. Socipic is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any television network, production company, television program, rights holder, or reality television personality unless expressly stated otherwise.

All third-party trademarks and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

How do I join a game?

You need a registered Socipic account before you can enroll in a game.

Once logged in, visit the Play page to see games that are currently enrolling.

Select the game you want to play and choose the available enrollment option.

Some games may be available to everyone, while others may require:

  • a certain color level;
  • a certain amount of Fame;
  • an enrollment fee using Fortune;
  • a qualifying placement or achievement;
  • an invitation or qualification;
  • available game slots; or
  • another requirement specific to that game.

Enrollment requirements are displayed on the applicable game card or game page.

How many games can I play at once?

The number of games you may join at the same time depends on your color level, the game pace, active enrollment, and any eligible allowance upgrades.

Game TypeLevel 1-6Level 7Level 8+Upgrade
Slow games1 concurrent game2 concurrent games2 concurrent gamesAdditional Slow Game Allowance adds 1
Fast games2 fast-game passes per reset2 fast-game passes per reset3 fast-game passes per resetAdditional Fast Game Allowance adds 1

Fast-game passes reset on the game's daily reset window. Closed games do not count toward active-game limits.

The Additional Fast Game Allowance upgrade currently requires 150 Fame and costs F$149.99. The Additional Slow Game Allowance upgrade currently requires 250 Fame and costs F$199.99.

Even when you are eligible to join several games at once, remember that Socipic is heavily based on social participation, challenges, alliances, voting, and strategy.

Joining more games than you can reasonably participate in may make it harder to perform well.

Do I have to play every game to win?

No.

Different game formats reward different skills.

Depending on the game, success may involve:

  • social relationships;
  • strategy;
  • challenge ability;
  • activity;
  • jury management;
  • voting decisions;
  • alliance management;
  • timing;
  • deception;
  • risk-taking;
  • reputation; or
  • simply surviving each round.

There is no single correct way to play Socipic.

Am I allowed to lie in games?

Yes.

Lying, bluffing, misleading other players, making secret alliances, breaking deals, betraying allies, and blindsiding competitors are normal parts of social strategy games.

You may manipulate the game.

You may not cheat the system, abuse the community, or threaten the person behind the player.

Conduct such as harassment, doxxing, blackmail, cheating, multi-accounting, and prohibited outside coordination remains against the Socipic Rules of Conduct.

Can I intentionally lose or throw a challenge?

Yes, when done for a legitimate strategic reason.

You are not required to try your hardest to win every challenge.

For example, a player may intentionally underperform in order to:

  • hide their challenge ability;
  • allow an ally to win;
  • avoid receiving power;
  • manipulate nominations or elimination eligibility;
  • influence team or game dynamics;
  • reduce their perceived threat level; or
  • pursue another strategic objective.

Using prohibited automation, exploits, outside assistance, or other forms of cheating in a challenge is still prohibited.

Some special competitions may expressly require good-faith participation. If so, that requirement will be stated in the rules for that competition.

Can I vote someone out because I do not like them?

Yes.

Unless a particular game states otherwise, you may generally vote, nominate, target, save, eliminate, or refuse to work with another player for whatever strategic or personal gameplay reason you choose.

Moderation does not determine whether a vote was fair or strategically optimal.

However, targeting someone through legitimate game mechanics does not give you permission to harass, threaten, dox, or otherwise abuse them.

Can I work with friends?

Yes.

Socipic is a social gaming platform, and relationships naturally carry over between games.

You may:

  • work with friends;
  • protect previous allies;
  • target previous enemies;
  • create new alliances;
  • reconnect with former allies; and
  • enter a game knowing other players.

However, prohibited collusion, multi-accounting, game fixing, unauthorized account sharing, or arrangements designed to improperly predetermine a game's outcome may result in enforcement.

See the Socipic Rules of Conduct for more information.

Fame And Levels

What is Fame?

Fame is Socipic's progression and reputation score.

As you participate in Socipic and perform well in games, you may earn Fame.

Fame may be used to determine eligibility for:

  • higher color levels;
  • certain games;
  • additional site features;
  • increased game enrollment capacity;
  • achievements;
  • rankings; or
  • other Socipic features.

Fame replaces what similar sites may refer to as Karma.

How do I earn Fame?

Fame may be earned through qualifying activity on Socipic.

Common ways of earning Fame may include:

  • winning games;
  • receiving high placements;
  • reaching important stages of games;
  • completing achievements;
  • participating in qualifying competitions; and
  • other activities designated by Socipic.

Socipic may adjust Fame rewards as games and features are balanced or updated.

Can I lose Fame?

Fame generally represents your accumulated Socipic progression and is not spent when purchasing color levels or other features.

Socipic may, however, correct Fame that was improperly obtained through a bug, exploit, cheating, duplicate account, administrative error, or other invalid activity.

What are color levels?

Color levels represent account progression on Socipic.

As your Fame increases, you may become eligible to obtain higher color levels. Depending on the level, color progression may unlock benefits such as:

  • access to additional games;
  • additional simultaneous game slots;
  • community features;
  • shop or design features;
  • increased limits or privileges;
  • special enrollment opportunities; and
  • other benefits.

Having enough Fame may make you eligible for a level but does not necessarily mean the level is automatically granted. Levels may need to be purchased or assigned before they affect your account.

Virtual Currency

Is Socipic free?

Yes. Creating an account and accessing Socipic's standard features is free unless otherwise stated.

Socipic also uses a virtual currency called Fortune, sometimes displayed as F$.

Fortune may be used for features such as:

  • enrolling in certain games;
  • purchasing avatar designs;
  • purchasing color levels;
  • participating in shops;
  • purchasing eligible site features; and
  • other virtual transactions.

Some Fortune may be earned through normal site participation.

If Socipic offers the ability to purchase Fortune with real money, purchasing it is optional.

How do I earn Fortune?

Depending on the features currently available, you may earn Fortune by:

  • winning or placing highly in games;
  • participating in eligible games;
  • selling eligible designs or shop items through supported resale features;
  • receiving promotional rewards; and
  • other methods offered by Socipic.

Can I convert Socipic currency into real money?

No, unless Socipic expressly provides a program stating otherwise.

Socipic virtual currency and virtual items are intended for use within the Service and do not represent cash, stored monetary value, or a bank account.

See the Terms of Service for the rules governing virtual items and currency.

Rewards vary depending on the game and final placement.

For current payout details, visit the individual game explainer pages:

  • Spilled

Some games may award Fame, Fortune, achievements, statistics, special eligibility, or combinations of these rewards.

Community Features

Can I message other players?

Yes.

Socipic provides community and messaging features that allow users to communicate with one another.

Certain messaging features may depend on:

  • account status;
  • friendship status;
  • Fame;
  • color level;
  • game enrollment;
  • moderation restrictions; or
  • other account requirements.

Mailbox settings may allow users to limit messages to friends. Game chats and private game messages may be limited to enrolled players in that game.

Messages remain subject to the Socipic Rules of Conduct.

Private messages may not be used for harassment, threats, spam, prohibited sexual content, doxxing, cheating, or other violations.

Can I talk to another player outside Socipic?

Generally, yes.

Socipic does not prohibit users from knowing or communicating with one another outside the website.

However, individual games may place restrictions on outside communication when necessary to preserve game integrity.

For example, a particular game may require certain conversations to occur through official game channels.

Users may never use outside communication for prohibited conduct such as:

  • cheating;
  • multi-accounting;
  • obtaining unauthorized information;
  • blackmail;
  • threats;
  • harassment;
  • game fixing; or
  • circumventing a game-specific communication restriction.

Check the rules of the game you are playing.

What are Krews?

Krews are private community spaces on Socipic created for friends, alliances, social circles, game communities, or other users who want their own place to interact.

A Krew may be used to:

  • chat with friends;
  • organize social circles;
  • keep up with allies from previous games;
  • plan activities or events;
  • share posts, images, and other permitted content;
  • discuss Socipic games;
  • create a private community within Socipic; and
  • stay connected outside of public community spaces.

Krews are intended to give users a more private and personal space than public profiles, blogs, or community pages.

Are Krews private?

Yes. Krew pages are generally visible only to members of that Krew and other users specifically permitted to access them.

However, private does not mean completely confidential.

Content posted inside a Krew may still be accessed or reviewed by Socipic where reasonably necessary to:

  • investigate reports;
  • enforce the Terms of Service or Rules of Conduct;
  • investigate cheating, harassment, threats, or other misconduct;
  • protect users or the Service;
  • address technical or security issues; or
  • comply with legal obligations.

Socipic cannot prevent another Krew member from taking screenshots, copying messages, or sharing information they were able to view.

Do not post information in a Krew that you would be seriously harmed by another member sharing.

How do I join a Krew?

Krews are generally invite-only.

A Krew owner or authorized member may invite you to join, depending on that Krew's settings.

You are never required to join a Krew to use Socipic.

Can I create my own Krew?

Eligible users may be able to create Krews if Socipic makes Krew creation available to their account.

Eligibility may depend on requirements such as:

  • color level;
  • Fame amount;
  • Fortune cost;
  • account age; or
  • other account requirements.

The user who creates a Krew will generally become its Owner unless ownership is later transferred through an available Socipic feature.

What can Krew owners do?

Depending on the features available, Krew Owners and authorized Krew staff may be able to:

  • invite or remove members;
  • approve membership requests;
  • appoint Krew moderators or administrators;
  • edit the Krew name and description;
  • customize the Krew page;
  • manage member permissions;
  • remove Krew posts;
  • organize activities; and
  • manage other Krew settings.

Krew leadership does not give a user authority to enforce sitewide Socipic rules or impersonate Socipic staff.

Can Krews have their own rules?

Yes.

Krew Owners may establish additional rules for their own private Krew.

For example, a Krew may have rules concerning:

  • activity;
  • spoilers;
  • game discussion;
  • posting frequency;
  • internal disputes;
  • membership;
  • off-topic conversation; or
  • expected conduct within the Krew.

Krew-specific rules may be stricter than Socipic's general community rules.

However, Krew rules may not override or conflict with the Socipic Terms of Service or Rules of Conduct.

A Krew cannot make prohibited conduct acceptable simply because its members agree to it.

Can I be removed from a Krew?

Yes.

Krew Owners and authorized Krew staff may remove members according to that Krew's own membership policies.

Being removed from a Krew is generally an internal community decision and is not automatically a moderation issue.

Socipic will not normally require a private Krew to admit or retain a particular user.

However, removal from a Krew may still be reviewed if it forms part of conduct that independently violates Socipic rules, such as harassment, discrimination, threats, or coordinated abuse.

Can Krews be used for alliances?

Yes.

Krews may be used by friends, alliances, former castmates, gaming communities, or other social circles.

Being in the same Krew as another player does not automatically mean those users are cheating or improperly coordinating.

Players may have friendships and alliances that carry across multiple Socipic games.

However, Krew membership does not exempt users from rules against:

  • multi-accounting;
  • prohibited game fixing;
  • unauthorized outside-game coordination;
  • cheating;
  • exploiting hidden information; or
  • other competitive-integrity violations.

If a particular game restricts outside communication, players must follow that game's rules even when communicating through a Krew.

Are Krew conversations subject to Socipic rules?

Yes.

The Socipic Rules of Conduct apply inside Krews.

Private spaces may not be used to:

  • harass another user;
  • organize targeted harassment;
  • post prohibited hate speech;
  • share another person's private information;
  • distribute prohibited sexual or illegal content;
  • coordinate cheating;
  • evade moderation;
  • threaten or blackmail users; or
  • otherwise violate Socipic rules.

The fact that Content was posted inside a private Krew does not prevent Socipic from taking enforcement action.

Can I report something posted inside a Krew?

Yes.

If Content inside a Krew violates Socipic rules, you may report it through the available Socipic reporting or contact tools.

When possible, include the relevant Krew, user, message or post, and enough context for moderators to review the report.

Do not falsify or edit evidence in a misleading way.

What happens if a Krew repeatedly breaks the rules?

Socipic may take action against individual members, Krew leadership, or the Krew itself where appropriate.

Depending on the circumstances, Socipic may:

  • remove prohibited Content;
  • remove individual members;
  • restrict Krew features;
  • remove or replace Krew leadership;
  • temporarily disable a Krew;
  • permanently delete a Krew; or
  • take action against associated user accounts.

A Krew may be removed where its primary purpose or repeated activity substantially violates Socipic rules.

Can I leave a Krew?

Yes.

Members may leave a Krew through the available membership controls.

Leaving a Krew does not necessarily delete posts, messages, or other Content that you previously shared with the Krew.

What happens if the Krew Owner leaves Socipic?

If a Krew Owner leaves, deletes their account, or becomes permanently unavailable, ownership may transfer to another eligible Krew administrator or member.

If no eligible successor is available, Socipic may appoint a successor, place the Krew into an inactive state, or remove it.

Are Krews official Socipic games or events?

No.

Krews are private social spaces for users.

Creating a Krew does not automatically make anything an official Socipic game, event, or competition.

A Krew may discuss or organize game-related activity where permitted, but Krew activity remains subject to Socipic's sitewide rules and any rules of the game being played.

Designs And Avatars

What are designs?

Designs are user-created visual items that may be used with Socipic avatars or other eligible site features.

Depending on the available features, designs may include:

  • clothing;
  • hair;
  • accessories;
  • facial features;
  • backgrounds;
  • graphics;
  • avatar components; and
  • other cosmetic items.

Users may be able to submit designs through design games, shops, competitions, or other features.

Do my designs need to be original?

Yes.

Designs you submit must be your original work or material that you otherwise have sufficient legal permission to use.

Taking another person's artwork and simply:

  • resizing it;
  • cropping it;
  • recoloring it;
  • tracing it;
  • filtering it;
  • editing it slightly; or
  • fitting it onto a Socipic avatar

does not make the design your original work.

You may draw inspiration from fashion, artwork, trends, pop culture, and other creators, but you may not simply copy somebody else's protected artwork.

For complete rules, see the Design Content section of the Socipic Terms of Service.

What happens to a design after I upload it?

Designs submitted through Socipic's design systems may become Shared Design Content as described in the Terms of Service.

You retain whatever copyright you legally own in your original artwork, but by submitting qualifying Design Content, you grant Socipic broad and continuing rights to use that design as part of the Service.

This allows designs to continue appearing on avatars, in shops, in game systems, and elsewhere on Socipic even if the original creator later deletes their account.

See the Terms of Service for the complete Shared Design Content license.

How does the Design Game work?

Socipic does not currently list a public Design Game entry point in the main navigation.

If a Design Game or design contest is opened, its page or announcement will provide the specific theme, submission rules, deadlines, voting method, prizes, and eligibility requirements.

All Design Game submissions remain subject to the Terms of Service, Rules of Conduct, originality rules, copyright rules, and Shared Design Content license.

How do shops work?

Socipic shops allow eligible avatar items, account upgrades, level colors, and other site features to be distributed or sold to users.

The Shops tab includes house collections, designer boutiques, levels, DeadPixel upgrades, and other available shop categories.

Shop items may require:

  • enough Fortune;
  • a minimum Fame amount;
  • a required color level;
  • available stock;
  • ownership of a prior level or prerequisite; or
  • another item-specific condition.

Some items may be giftable. Some eligible avatar designs may also be available through supported resale features.

Designs sold or distributed through shops remain subject to Socipic's originality, copyright, and Shared Design Content rules.

Moderation And Bans

Can I get banned from Socipic?

Yes.

Accounts may receive warnings, restrictions, temporary bans, game bans, or permanent bans for violating the Socipic Rules of Conduct or Terms of Service.

Community violations may restrict access to the entire site.

Game-related violations may instead restrict your ability to participate in particular competitive games or features.

Serious violations may result in an immediate permanent ban.

How long do violations stay on my record?

Unless otherwise stated in the Rules of Conduct, an active violation generally remains on your moderation record for three months from the date the violation was issued.

Serious violations, cheating history, safety incidents, permanent bans, and ban-evasion records may be retained for longer when necessary for enforcement and site safety.

See the Rules of Conduct for the complete policy.

Can I make another account while banned?

No.

Creating or using another account to avoid a ban, game restriction, chat restriction, or other moderation action is ban evasion.

Using another person's account to avoid a restriction is also prohibited.

Ban evasion may extend the original punishment or result in a permanent ban.

Can I appeal a ban?

Yes.

Appeal an eligible moderation action through the Moderation page. Use the File Report tab, choose the closest rule area or Other, and clearly state that the submission is an appeal.

An appeal should explain why you believe:

  • the rule was incorrectly applied;
  • evidence was misunderstood;
  • relevant context was overlooked;
  • your account was incorrectly identified; or
  • the penalty was inappropriate.

Repeatedly submitting the same rejected appeal does not guarantee another review.

I disagree with someone's strategy. Can I report them?

You may report conduct that you genuinely believe violates Socipic rules, but moderators will not punish users simply for making unpopular or unconventional strategic decisions.

Generally allowed gameplay includes:

  • lying;
  • betrayal;
  • fake alliances;
  • blindsides;
  • challenge throwing for strategic benefit;
  • targeting friends;
  • voting based on grudges;
  • changing alliances;
  • jury bitterness;
  • refusing to save an ally; and
  • making strategically questionable moves.

A bad move is not automatically a rules violation.

Report users when you reasonably believe there has been actual cheating, harassment, abuse, exploitation, or another violation of Socipic rules.

Someone betrayed me in a game. Is that harassment?

Not by itself.

Betrayal is part of social strategy.

A player may lie to you, nominate you, vote against you, expose your strategy, break an alliance, blindside you, or campaign for your elimination.

Harassment occurs when conduct crosses beyond legitimate gameplay into sustained personal targeting, intimidation, abuse, or similar misconduct.

Account Questions

Can I have more than one Socipic account?

No, unless Socipic expressly authorizes an exception.

Socipic generally permits one account per person.

Alternate accounts may be removed, particularly where they are used to:

  • enter multiple times in a game;
  • manipulate votes;
  • transfer benefits;
  • influence challenges;
  • manipulate statistics;
  • circumvent restrictions; or
  • evade a ban.

Socipic may offer a sanctioned Alternate Account upgrade. Owning that upgrade does not permit cheating, vote manipulation, ban evasion, game fixing, or violating any game-specific account rule.

Can somebody else use my account?

No.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

Account sharing may also create an unfair competitive advantage and may result in account restrictions or other enforcement.

Never give another person your password.

Can I change my username?

Username changes are an account upgrade.

The Change Username upgrade currently requires 500 Fame and costs F$399.99.

Standard usernames may use letters, numbers, dots, underscores, and hyphens. The app accepts up to 24 characters. The standard username editor requires at least 5 characters unless you own the 3 Character Username upgrade.

The 3 Character Username upgrade currently requires 1,500 Fame and costs F$999.99. It unlocks a shorter three-character username option.

Socipic reserves the right to reclaim or change usernames in certain circumstances, including impersonation, trademark claims, inappropriate names, or other situations addressed by the Terms of Service.

How do I delete my account?

Account deletion is handled by staff rather than through a public self-service button in the current app.

To request account deletion, contact Socipic support or the privacy contact listed in the Privacy Policy when available. Include the username and enough information to verify that you control the account.

Deleting your account may remove or anonymize certain account information.

Some records may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, moderation, or enforcement.

Design Content already distributed through Socipic may continue to be available as described in the Terms of Service.

Help And Policies

Where can I report another user?

Use the Moderation page and open the File Report tab.

When making a report, include enough information for moderators to understand what happened.

Where possible, include:

  • the username involved;
  • the relevant game, post, message, or page;
  • approximate date or time;
  • screenshots or other relevant evidence; and
  • a brief explanation of the alleged violation.

Do not manufacture, edit, or falsify evidence.

How do I report a bug?

Report bugs through the Moderation page by filing a report under Other or Exploit abuse, depending on the issue.

If you discover a bug that could provide a competitive or financial advantage, do not intentionally exploit or publicly distribute instructions for abusing it.

Report it to Socipic instead.

Where can I read the full rules?

Socipic's primary policies are:

  • Terms of Service - rules governing your use of Socipic;
  • Privacy Policy - explains how information is collected and handled;
  • Rules of Conduct - community, game, and moderation rules;
  • Design and Shop Rules - additional requirements for user-created avatar content; and
  • Individual Game Rules - rules specific to each game format.

If a game-specific rule conflicts with a general gameplay expectation, the more specific game rule applies for that game unless it conflicts with the Terms of Service or sitewide Rules of Conduct.

I still need help. Who do I contact?

For general questions or account assistance, use the support or contact method Socipic publishes in its policies or site footer.

For moderation appeals, use the Moderation page and explain that your submission is an appeal.

For privacy requests, use the privacy contact listed in the Privacy Policy when available.

For copyright complaints, use the copyright contact listed in the Terms of Service when available.
